The versatility of the posturewell support seat allows the user to maintain good spinal alignment and health. It also allows for someone with posture defects an additional support mechanism along with a spinal corrective rehabilitation program to make the changes necessary for good spinal hygiene.

The combination of these features allows for correct posture and support while seated. Typical seated position results in “toeing out” and splaying of the legs which causes the hips to rotate outward which can eventually promote ligament weakness, plastic deformation of joint tissue and may lead to chronic occurrence of conditions like hip bursitis and accelerated degeneration. The hip side supports cause the legs to stay more together, and keep the entire body in proper alignment.

For support of specific problem areas the user may consult a chirpractor. The user, under the supervision of a chiropractor, can position the supports to support and promote long term correction of spinal/postural distortions like pelvic unleveling and curvature of spine.
